Jack Carroll is a semi-retired electronics engineer with experience in industrial and medical electronics, an occasional beta tester for Debian Linux, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran (1965-1969).[1][2]

In addition to writing for The Grantville Gazettes, he has published several songs in the NESFA Hymnal, Volume 2.[3]
