Frederick Henry, or Frederik Hendrik in Dutch (29 January 1584 – 14 March 1647), was the Prince of Orange and stadtholder of Holland, Zeeland, Utrecht, Guelders, and Overijssel from 1625 to 1647.

Frederick Henry in 1632Edit

In 1633, Fredrick Hendrik fell victim to a surprise attack when England and France joined the League of Ostend and betrayed the United Provinces. The attack successfully reached behind the Dutch land defenses. In consultation with Mike Stearns by radio thereafter, Rebecca Stearns arranged for an alliance of the New United States with the rump remnants of the United Provinces.

Fredrick Hendrik subsequently arrived at an accommodation with Don Fernando, and became an important official in the new (larger) state encompassing today's territories of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the French Netherlands, the Kingdom of Belgium and a number of smaller states such as Luxembourg and several prince-bishoprics.

NotesEdit

Frederik Hendrik's family gets little, if any, mention, so it is not known if analogs of Isabella Charlotte or Albertine Agnes exist. His other children were born too far after the Ring of Fire to exist in the NTL.
