Catherine de Vivonne, marquise de Rambouillet in 1632Edit

While talking to up-timer Josh Modi in Paris, Lady Marie de Gournay raised the topic of Catherine de Vivonne, marquise de Rambouillet, stating that she began the tradition of the salons of Paris in the early 1600s and focused more on art and literature. Lady Marie exclaimed that having Modi in her home would make the marquise de Rambouillet highly jealous of her, and suspected that the de Rambouillet would try to steal Modi away.
