Anders Jönsson (d. 1632) was the personal bodyguard of King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden. He was present when the king was killed at the Battle of Lützen. By all accounts, Jönsson himself was hacked down while trying to prevent Gustavus's death.

As the bodyguard of Gustavus Adolphus, Anders Jönsson was often placed in the unenviable position of having to protect the king's safety even as the king was recklessly disregarding it. This was on display during the Battle of Breitenfeld, when Gustavus personally attacked Count Tilly's positions.

In October of 1635, Jönsson was killed while protecting Gustavus from an attack by Polish hussars. Although he'd managed to kill several hussars with his HK. 40-caliber USP, Jönsson was fatally wounded when a lance severed his femoral artery. The hussar then tried to skewer the unconcious Gustavus through Jönsson's body. While Jönsson was immediately killed by a wound to the heart, his body and armor protected the king.
